  15. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors and
  16. Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the TagIt version 1.0 package.

  25.                          Distribution Requirements

  28. Individuals who wish to distribute TagIt package to friends or associates
  29. may do so provided that all of the files listed in FILELIST.TXT are
  30. distributed as a group.

  32. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the TagIt package to their disk
  33. library may do so in accordance with the Distribution Restrictions listed
  34. below.

  38. Limited Distribution License:

  41. As the exclusive copyright holder for TagIt, Elimina Technology authorizes
  42. distribution only in accordance with the following restrictions.
  43.  
  44. The TagIt distribution package is defined as containing all the material
  45. listed in the FILELIST.TXT text file.  If any files listed in the
  46. FILELIST.TXT text file, or the FILELIST.TXT file itself, are missing, then
  47. the package is not complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact
  48. us to obtain a complete package suitable for distribution.

  50. The archive file name for this version is TAGIT100.ZIP.
  51.  
  52. The TagIt distribution package - including all related program files and
  53. documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be distributed
  54. as a complete package, without exception.  The FILELIST.TXT text file
  55. contains a list of all files that are part of the TagIt distribution package.
  56.  
  57.    Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  58.    batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.

  61. No price or other compensation may be charged for the TagIt distribution
  62. package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the diskette,
  63. shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not exceed
  64. US$8.00 in the U.S. and Canada, or US$12.00 internationally.

  66. The TagIt distribution package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  67.  
  68. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or other
  69. literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".  Shareware is
  70. "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.

  72. Elimina Technology prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of the
  73. TagIt distribution package, without written permission from Elimina
  74. Technology.  If the version you have is over three (3) months old, please
  75. contact us to ensure that you have the most current version.  This version
  76. was released in December, 1994.

  78. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  79. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program
  80. except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  81. result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  85. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  87. The TagIt distribution package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  88. inclusive package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software
  89. packaging offer, without a written agreement from Elimina Technology.

  91.    Vendors who wish to distribute the TagIt distribution package as part
  92.    of a collection may do so provided that all the other restrictions are
  93.    met. (However Elimina Technology must still be advised so that the 
  94.    distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest version of TagIt).

  96.    Elimina Technology reserves the right to terminate this license from any
  97.    vendor who acts against the interest of Elimina Technology in any way.

  99.    If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other collection,
  100.    please check the release date of the version you have.  If the version
  101.    is over three (3) months old then please contact us to ensure that you
  102.    have the most current version.  This version was released in December,
  103.    1994.

  105. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  107. If you would like to distribute the TagIt distribution package as a
  108. Disk-of-the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly service, you must
  109. contact us in advance to ensure that you have the most current version of the
  110. software.

  112.    You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your inventory
  113.    of old (out of date) disks.  Only current versions may be shipped as
  114.    Disk-of-the-Month disks.
